Crowded Table was an incredibly lovely and intimate experience, which gave me the opportunity to make space for grief and writing alongside other grievers. The prompts and facilitation from Caroline were so thoughtful and beautifully curated, giving gentle direction but allowing space for interpretation and creativity. On top of that, hearing other people's stories and connecting with them made me feel less alone and authentically witnessed in my own unique story. I can't say enough good things about my experience and would recommend this to anyone who has known grief and finds writing cathartic.

Caroline has an exceptional set of intersecting gifts. In her life and online presence she is a beacon of safety and honesty. Consequently, people are drawn to her and he capacity to hold space for human experiences that many of us feel pressure to hide in the shadows. The Crowded Table Workshop is another way that she is bringing light to the world and enabling others to meaningfully engage with the difficult things that can define us.

After taking the workshop (I was SO anxious and nervous for), I left the group feeling as if I found a missing piece of myself. Nothing has felt this safe and fulfilling in a long time! Caroline structured the group so it flowed and we all shared a safe, creative and beautiful space. It was magical!

Caroline is not only a moving and profound writer and photographer, but her true gift of connecting and understanding human emotion and experience also shines through in the way she leads workshops and facilitates such gentle yet powerful experience. The space that Caroline is able to cultivate through her workshops is sacred and profound. It is a testament to her gifts of fostering a sense of belonging, empathizing, and supporting people to get in touch with themselves in ways they may be avoiding or repressing. People feel able and free to show up not only creatively, but authentically, in community with those who know grief in different ways. The workshop truly feels like a crowded table of old friends coming together to share what is on their hearts and to feel truly known and seen.

It was a transformative to be part of such a brave, vulnerable community. Nothing like I’ve ever experienced before.

This workshop was a safe space to share lived experience about grief and death and illness. It felt freeing time be in the presence of others who are willing to be with each others’ truth, and was gracefully facilitated by Caroline in a way that felt genuinely connective & authentic.

If you are considering this workshop, do it! The time spent in reflection, as guided by Caroline, was powerful and grounding. The prompts allowed for self compassion and deep connection with other folks who are grieving.
